Documentation for the CMS Pipelines Runtime Library Distribution

PIPELINE HELPLIB (author's help files)

PIPELINE HELPLIB contains the author's help files for CMS/TSO Pipelines. By default, the version of the CMS Pipelines runtime library contained in this distribution will access the HELPLIB whenever a "pipe help" or "pipe ahelp" command is issued.

CMS customers who wish to generate standard CMS HELP files from PIPELINE HELPLIB should follow these instructions. (The CMS HELP command can be used to access the HELP files built in this way. The runtime library version of CMS Pipelines can also be made to access standard CMS HELP files when "pipe help" is issued; see Chapter 23 of the Pipelines Reference for information on configuring this behavior of "pipe help" or issue the command "pipe help configva".)

BatchPipes and SmartBatch customers who want more complete online help for the version of TSO Pipelines shipped as BatchPipeWorks can install the author's help library on TSO.

PIPELINE BOOK (CMS/TSO Pipelines Reference)

PIPELINE BOOK is the author's documentation for CMS/TSO Pipelines in BookManager/Read format. It can be viewed with BookManager under VM or MVS; it can be downloaded (in binary mode) to a workstation and viewed with BookManager or Library/Reader there; or it can be served by BookManager BookServer for viewing with a Web browser.

Library/Reader is available for OS/2, DOS, and Windows and is included free-of-charge on the IBM Collection Kit CD-ROMs. PIPELINE BOOK has been "stamped" to allow it to be read with the free Library/Reader software.

PIPELINE PDF (CMS/TSO Pipelines Author's Edition)

PIPELINE PDF is the author's reference manual for level 1.1.10 in Portable Document Format (PDF) format with bookmarks and cross reference links.
